On this day in 2016, hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd released their second studio album Sremmlife 2 on Ear Drummer. The album featured production by Mike Will Made It, Rae Sremmurd, DJ Mustard, 30 Roc, and many more. Guest artists on the set included Lil Jon, Gucci Mane, Juicy J, and Kodak Black. Sremmlife 2 spawned the singles: "By Chance," "Look Alive," which reached #26 on the R&B chart, and "Black Beatles," which reached #1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the R&B chart. The album debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200. It was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
