On this day in Hip-Hop history, Masta Ace released his solo album Disposable Arts.

On this day in 2001, Masta Ace released his solo album, Disposable Arts on JCOR.  His previous albums were credited to his group Masta Ace Incorporated. 

The album was produced by a member from Marley Marl's Juice Crew along with a gang of other beat-makers including DJ Rob, Paul Nice, and Rodney Hunter.

Notable guests featured on the album included Flipmode Squad's Rah Digga, Greg Nice of Nice & Smooth, Jean Grae, and many others. 

​Disposable Arts peaked at #90 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
