On this day in 2003, Lil' Kim released her third studio album La Bella Mafia on Atlantic. The album featured production from Carlos "Fantom of the Beat" Evans, Kanye West, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Scott Storch, and Havoc and many others. Guest artists featured on the set included Havoc, Missy Elliott, Twista, 50 Cent, Styles P, and more. La Bella Mafia spawned the hits "Magic Stick," which reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for a Grammy; "Came Back for You," which was also nominated for a Grammy; and "The Jump Off," which peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #8 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200. It was certified platinum by the RIAA.
