On this day in 1993, Cypress Hill released their sophomore album Black Sunday on Ruffhouse. The album was produced by DJ Muggs and T-Ray. Black Sunday spawned the singles: "Insane in the Brain," which was the lead single and reached #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Rap chart; and "I Ain't Goin' Out Like That," which was nominated for a Grammy and reached #65 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. It was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
