On this day in 1994, Craig Mack released his debut album Project: Funk da World on Bad Boy. It was the second album released on the label. The album featured a few singles, including the platinum-selling smash hit "Flava in Ya Ear," which was later remixed with the Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, Rampage, and LL Cool J. The album's second single "Get Down" was certified gold and reached the Top 40. Project: Funk da World reached #21 on the Billboard 200 and #6 on the R&B/Rap charts.
