On this day in 1997, Chicago emcee Common released his third studio album One Day It'll All Make Sense on Relativity. The album was mainly produced by No. I.D. Guest artists featured on the set included Lauryn Hill, Chantay Savage, Erykah Badu, Cee-Lo Green, Canibus, and De La Soul. One Day It'll All Make Sense spawned the hit singles "Retrospect for Life," "Reminding Me (of Self)," which reached #9 on the Rap chart; and "All Night Long," which was produced by the Roots. The album reached #62 on the Billboard 200 and #12 on the R&B chart.
