On this day in Hip-Hop history, Nas released his sixth album God's Son.

On this day in 2002, Nas released his sixth album God's Son on Columbia.  The album featured production from Nas, the Alchemist, Salaam Remi, Ron Browz, Agile, Chucky Thompson, and Eminem.  Notable guest artists featured on the album included Kelis, Alicia Keys, Lake, Jully Black, Claudette Oritz, Bravehearts, J. Phoenix, and a posthumous spot from 2Pac.

God's Son included the singles "Made You Look," which reached #9 on the Rap chart; "Get Down," and "I Can," which reached #7 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.  The album peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200.  It reached #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
