On this day in 1994, horror core supergroup Gravediggaz released their debut album 6 Feet Deep on Gee Street. The album was produced by Prince Paul, Frukwan, RNS, Mr. Sime, and RZA. It was influential to the horror core subgenre and was later re-issued in 1997. 6 Feet Deep spawned the singles: "Diary of a Madman," which reached #82 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #8 on the Rap chart; "Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide," which peaked at #32 on the Rap chart; and "1-800 Suicide," which reached #46 on the Rap chart. The album peaked at #36 on the Billboard 200 and reached #6 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
