On this day in Hip-Hop history, Shady Records released the compilation Eminem Presents: The Re-Up. ​

On this day in 2006, Shady Records released the compilation album Eminem Presents: The Re-Up.  The album featured production from the Alchemist, Dr. Dre, Disco D, Akon, Dawaun Parker, Luis Resto, Rikinatti, Parker Focus, and Witt & Pep.  The compilation featured various artists signed to Eminem's Shady imprint.

Eminem Presents: The Re-Up produced the two hit singles, "You Don't Know Me," which reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100; and "Jimmy Crack Corn," which reached #77 on the Pop 100 and #1 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at #2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.  It sold over a million copies and was certified platinum by the RIAA.
