On this day in 1994, Arrested Development released their second album Zingalamaduni on Chrysalis. The album was produced by Speech. The sophomore set was named after the Swahili word for "beehive of culture" and utilized a number of African musical elements. Zingalamaduni spawned the singles "Africa's Inside Me;" "United Front," which reached #66 on the R&B chart; and "Ease My Mind," which peaked at #45 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album reached #55 on the Billboard 200. It peaked at #20 on the R&B chart.
