On this day in 1989, Young MC released his hit single "Bust A Move" on Delicious Vinyl. The track was produced by the Dust Brothers and was the lead single from Young MC's debut album Stone Cold Rhymin'. The song featured vocals from Crystal Blake and bass by Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The single peaked at #7 and spent thirty-nine weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached #2 on the Rap chart and won a Grammy for best rap performance.
