On this day in 1997, Wu-Tang Clan released their second studio album Wu-Tang Forever on RCA. The double album was produced by RZA with contribution from Inspectah Deck, 4th Disciple, and True Master. In 2013, Drake paid tribute to the album in a song titled "Wu-Tang Forever" which sampled "It's Yourz." Wu-Tang Forever spawned the singles "Triumph," which was the lead single off the album and was over six minutes long; "It's Yourz," which peaked at #75 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart and #21 on the Rap chart; and "Reunited." The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. It has sold over 4 million copies and is certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
