On this day in 2001, the Texas rap group UGK released their fourth album Dirty Money on Jive. The highly anticipated album featured production from N.O. Joe and Pimp C. Notable guests featured on the set were Juicy J, Too $hort, Devin the Dude, and Jermaine Dupri. It was the group's first studio release since 1996 and spawned a number of singles including "Pimpin' Ain't No Illusion," which reached the top ten on the Rap charts. Dirty Money reached #19 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
