On this day in 2011, Tyler, the Creator released his major label debut album Goblin on XL. The debut was mostly self-produced with some production from Odd Future member Left Brain. Guest artists featured on the set included Frank Ocean, Syd tha Kyd, Taco Bennett, Jasper Dolphin, Domo Genesis, Hodgy Beats, and Mike G. Goblin spawned the single "Yonkers," which was the lead single and was certified gold by the RIAA. It reached #27 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital chart. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200. It was certified gold by the RIAA, January 2018.
