On this day in 2001, T.I. released his debut studio album I'm Serious on Arista. The album featured production from notable producers like DJ Toomb, the Neptunes, Jazze Pha, Lil Jon, and T.I. himself, among others. The album also featured an all-star cast of guests like Pharrell Williams, Lil Jon, Too $hort, Pastor Troy, the Youngbloodz and more. I'm Serious would peak at #98 on the Billboard 200. It reached #27 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The album is T.I.'s lowest selling album to date having sold just over 270,000 copies.
