On this day in 1995, hip-hop trio Tha Alkaholicks released their sophomore album Coast II Coast on Loud. The album was produced by Diamond D, E-Swift, Madlib, and Tha Liks. Notable guest artists featured on the album included Declaime, King Tee, Lootpack, Xzibit, and Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest. Coast II Coast spawned the hit singles "The Next Level," which reached #43 on the Rap chart; and "DAAAM!," which peaked at #20 on the Rap chart. The album reached #50 on the Billboard 200. It peaked at #12 on the R&B chart.
