On this day in 1996, Redman released his third album Muddy Waters on Def Jam. The album was executive produced by Erick Sermon. Guest artists featured on the set included K-Solo, Erick Sermon, and Method Man. Muddy Waters spawned the singles: "It's Like That (My Big Brother)," "Whateva Man," and "Pick It Up." The album peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200. It reached #1 on the R&B chart. It was certified gold by the RIAA.
