Supa Dupa Fly would feature 4 singles, including the lead hit "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)," which peaked at #4 on the US Hot R&B chart. It would feature guest appearances by Busta Rhymes, Lil Kim, Aaliyah, and more. The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It has sold over 1.2 million copies and was certified platinum in 2008. The album earned Missy two Grammy-nominations, including Best Rap Album, and helped redefine hip-hop and R&B.
