On this day in 1995, the Lost Boyz released their debut album Legal Drug Money on Uptown. The album featured production from Easy Mo Bee, Mr. Sexxx, and Pete Rock and others. Legal Drug Money spawned the hit singles: "Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless," which reached #91 on the Billboard Hot 100; "Jeeps, Lex Coups, Bimaz, & Benz," which peaked at #67 on the Billboard Hot 100; "Renee," which reached #33 on the Hot 100 and #3 on the Rap chart; "Music Makes Me High," which reached #51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #5 on the Rap chart; and "Get Up," which peaked at #60 on the Hot 100 and #6 on the Rap chart. The album reached #6 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the R&B chart. It was certified gold by the RIAA.
