On this day in 1992, Ice Cube released his fourth album The Predator on Priority. The album featured production from DJ Pooh, Torcha Chamba, Sir Jinx, DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill, and Ice Cube. The grim, fourth set from Cube, addressed police brutality and racism after the recent riots in LA. The Predator spawned a few classic singles including, "Wicked," "Check Yo Self," and "It Was a Good Day," which peaked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album debuted at #1 on both the Billboard 200 and the R&B chart. It was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
