On this day in 1999, the Hot Boys released their sophomore album Guerrilla Warfare on Cash Money. The album was produced by Mannie Fresh. Guest artists on the set included The Big Tymers and Paparue. Guerrilla Warfare spawned the hit singles "We on Fire," which reached #5 on the Rap chart; and "I Need a Hot Girl," which reached #23 on the R&B chart. The highly anticipated album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200. It reached #1 on the R&B chart. It was certified platinum by the RIAA, November, 1999.
