20 years ago today, the Beastie Boys released their fifth album, Hello Nasty, on Capital Records. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 681,000 copies its first week. With new member Mix Master Mike joining the crew, Hello Nasty showcased the return of the Beastie Boys after a 4 year absence. The album would spawn a few singles, including the Grammy-winning hit, "Intergalactic," which peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other hits were the Fatboy Slim remixed "Body Movin," and "The Negotiation Limerick File." In 1999, Hello Nasty won two Grammy awards, Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rap Performance by Duo or Group.
