On this day in 1994, the Fugees released their debut studio album Blunted on Reality on Ruffhouse. The album was produced by the Fugees, Salaam Remi, Rashad Muhammad, Stephen Walker, Brand X, and Ronald "Kool" Bell of Kool & the Gang. Blunted on Reality spawned the hit "Nappy Heads," which reached #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the fan favorites "Boof Bar," and "Vocab." The album reached #62 on the Billboard 200.
