On this day in 1999, Foxy Brown released her second studio album Chyna Doll on Def Jam. The album was executive produced by Foxy Brown and featured production from Irv Gotti, Swizz Beatz, and Fyffe. Guest artists featured on the album included Total, DMX, Mya, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, 8Ball & MJG, Juvenile, Too $hort, Pretty Boy, Mia X, Gangsta Boo, and Jay Z. Chyna Doll spawned the singles "Hot Spot," which peaked at #91 on the Billboard Hot 100; and "I Can't," which reached #61 on the R&B chart. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and R&B chart. It was certified platinum by the RIAA.
