On this day in 2001, Dilated Peoples released their second album Expansion Team on Capitol. The album featured production from The Alchemist, DJ Premier, Da Beatminerz, Evidence, JuJu, DJ Babu, Joey Chavez, and Questlove. Guest artists included on the set were Guru, Tha Alkaholics, Melo D, DJ Rhettmatic, J. Rocc, and Black Thought. Expansion Team spawned the singles "Worst Comes to Worst," and "Live on Stage." The album reached #36 on the Billboard 200. It peaked at #8 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
