On this day in 2013, Chicago's own, Chance the Rapper, self-released his second mixtape Acid Rap as a free digital download. The mixtape featured production from Peter Cottontale, Cam O'bi, Stefan Ponce, Ceej, Noasaj Thing, Nate Fox, DJ Ozone, Ludwig Goransson, Blended Babies, brandUn DeShay, and Jake One. Guest artists that appeared on the mixtape included Vic Mensa, Saba, BJ the Chicago Kid, Lili K, Ab-Soul, Action Bronson, Childish Gambino, and Twista. Acid Rap reached #63 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
