On this day in 2012, Chicago emcee Chance the Rapper self-released his debut mixtape 10 Day as a free digital download. The mixtape featured production from Flying Lotus, Lex Luger, Chuck Inglish, and THEMpeople, and others. Notable guest artists from Chicago featured on the set included Vic Mensa, Alex Wiley, Nico Segal, Peter CottonTale, and Lili K. The mixtape was recorded during Chance's ten-day high school suspension. It had over 650,000 downloads.
