On this day in 2002, Atmosphere released their second studio album God Loves Ugly on Rhymesayers Entertainment. The album was produced by group member Ant. The second set featured Self Devine as a guest artist on the track "Flesh." God Loves Ugly spawned the singles "Modern Man's Hustle," which reached #18 on the Rap chart; and "GodLovesUgly." The album peaked at #139 on the Billboard 200. It reached #43 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The album would be rereleased along with a DVD on January 20, 2009.
