On this day in 1990, the four-man crew (Cold 187um, Go Mack, KMG the Illustrator, and DJ Total K-Oss) from Pomona, California, Above the Law released their debut album Livin' Like Hustlers on Ruthless. The album was produced by the group, Dr. Dre, Laylaw, and was executively produced by Eazy E. Livin' Like Hustlers spawned the singles "Untouchable," which reached #1 on the Hot Rap Singles chart and "Murder Rap," which also peaked at #1 on the Hot Rap chart. N.W.A. were featured on the joint "The Last Song." The album reached #75 on the Billboard 200. It peaked at #14 on the R&B/HipHop chart.
