On this day in 2003, 50 Cent released his sophomore album Get Rich or Die Tryin' on Shady/Aftermath. The album featured production from Dr. Dre, Mike Elizondo, Eminem, Rockwilder, Megahertz, and Mr. Porter, and among others. Notable guest artists featured on the album included Eminem, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, Nate Dogg, Lloyd Banks, Brooklyn, and Snoop Dogg. Get Rich or Die Tryin' spawned the hit singles "Patiently Waiting," "If I Can't," "Many Men (Wish Death)," "21 Questions," which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100; and "P.I.M.P." which reached #1 on the same chart. The album also contained the #1, platinum selling, lead single "In da Club," which became the most listened to song in radio history. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. It was nominated for a Grammy and was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
