On this day in 1993, 2Pac released his second solo album Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... on Interscope. The album included production from Stretch, The Underground Railroad, Big D The Impossible, Bobcat, Jam Master Jay, Live Squad, Special Ed, Truman Jefferson, DJ Daryl, Laylaw, The D-Flow Production Squad, and 2Pac. Guest artists featured on the album included Ice-T, Ice Cube, Dave Hollister, Deadly Threat, Live Squad, Treach of Naughty By Nature, Apache, Wycked, Poppi, as well as Shock G and Money-B of Digital Underground. The socially conscious and politically charged album contained the thoughtful singles "Keep Ya Head Up," which reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #7 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart; "Papa'z Song," which peaked at #87 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #82 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart; "I Get Around," which reached #11 on the Billboard Hot 100; and "Holler If Ya Hear Me." The album debuted at #24 on the Billboard 200. It was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
