On this day in 1995, 2Pac released his third studio album Me Against the World on Interscope. The album was released while 2Pac was in prison and featured production from Easy Mo Bee, Johnny "J", Stretch, Shock G, and many more. Guest artists featured on the set included Dramacydal and Richie Rich. Me Against the World produced the singles "Dear Mama," which was the lead single and reached #1 on the Rap chart and peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100; "So Many Tears," which reached #44 on the BillboardHot 100 and #6 on the Rap chart; and "Temptations," which hit #68 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #13 on the Rap chart. The album debuted at #1 on both the Billboard 200 and the R&B chart. It was nominated for a Grammy. It was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
