On this day in 2006, Young Jeezy released his second studio album The Inspiration on Def Jam. The album featured production from DJ Toomp, the Runners, and others. Notable guest artists featured on the album included R. Kelly, Timbaland, T.I., and Keyshia Cole. The Inspiration spawned the hit singles, "I Luv it," which reached #7 on the Rap chart; "Go Getta," which reached #18 on the Billboard Hot 100; and "Dreamin'." The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
