On this day in 2000, the Wu-Tang Clan released their third studio album The W on Loud. The album featured production from RZA and other Wu members. Notable guest artists featured on the set were Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Redman, and Isaac Hayes. The W spawned the classic singles "Protect Ya Neck (The Jump Off)," which reached #52 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart; "Gravel Pit," which peaked at #20 on the Rap chart; and "Careful (Click, Click)." The album is the Wu's second-highest charting album and peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200. It reached #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
