On this day in 2000, The Lox released their second studio album We Are the Streets on Ruff Ryders. The album featured production from Swizz Beatz, P.K., DJ Premier, and Timbaland. Guest artists featured on the set included Swizz Beatz, Kasino, Eve, Drag-On, and Timbaland. We Are the Streets spawned the singles "Wild Out," and "Ryde or Die, Bitch," which reached #73 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #27 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The album peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200. It reached #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
