On this day in 1998, The L.O.X. released their debut album Money, Power, & Respect on Bad Boy. The album featured production from Swizz Beats, Dame Grease, and Younglord, with Puff Daddy as executive producer. Notable guest artists featured on the album included Lil' Kim, DMX, Kelly Price, and Carl Thomas. Money, Power, & Respect spawned the singles "If You Think I'm Jiggy," which reached #30 on the Billboard Hot 100; and "Money, Power, & Respect," which was certified gold and reached #18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Rap chart. The debut set from the Yonkers trio peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200. It topped the R&B chart.
