On this day in Hip-Hop history, Raekwon released his third solo album The Lex Diamond Story.
On this day in 2003, Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan released his third solo album The Lex Diamond Story on his own label Ice H2O. The album featured production from DJ Khalil, Emile, and EZ Elpee. Notable guest artists featured on the album included fellow Wu-Tang members Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Method Man, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna, as well as Fat Joe, Havoc, and Capone. This was Raekwon's first solo album to not credit himself as "Chef" Raekwon. The Lex Diamond Story reached #18 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
