On this day in 1999, The Notorious B.I.G. released his third album Born Again on Bad Boy. It was the first posthumous compilation album released by Biggie. The album was composed primarily of earlier recorded verses over new beats and with guest artists. Born Again debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. It sold over 485,000 copies it's first week. The album was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA in January 2000.
