The album featured production from Maestro, DJ Infamous, Drew Correa, Bangladesh, Play-N-Skillz, Kanye West, Robin Thicke, Swizz Beatz, Cool & Dre, Deezle, David Banner, Jim Jonsin, StreetRunner, the Alchemist, and Rodnae. Guest artists featured on the set included Babyface, Brisco, Busta Rhymes, Betty Wright, D. Smith, Robin Thicke, Jay Z, Bobby V, Static Major, T-Pain, and Juelz Santana. Tha Carter III spawned the mega hit singles "Mrs. Officer," which reached #3 on the Rap chart; "Lollipop," which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified multi-platinum; "Mrs. Carter," which nominated for a Grammy; "Got Money," which was nominated for a Grammy and was certified multi-platinum; "You Ain't Got Nuthin'," and "A Milli," which won a Grammy and topped both the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA and won the Grammy for rap album of the year.
