On this day in 2007, Fabolous released his fourth album From Nothin' to Somethin' on Desert Storm. The album featured production by Timbaland, Just Blaze, Neo da Matrix, and Jermaine Dupre. Notable guest artists featured on the set included T-Pain, Ne-Yo, Young Jeezy, Akon, Lil' Mo, Lloyd, Junior Reed, Swiss Beatz, Rihanna, Pusha T, Red Cafe', Uncle Murda, Paul Cain, Joe Budden, Freck Billionaire, Ransom, and Jay Z. From Nothin' to Somethin' spawned the singles "Baby Don't Go," which reached #4 on the Rap chart; "Make Me Better," which reached #1 on the Rap chart and remained there for fourteen weeks; and "Diamonds," which peaked at #83 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album reached #2 on the Billboard 200. It was certified gold by the RIAA.
