On this day in Hip-Hop history, Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg released the single "Deep Cover."

On this day in 1992, Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg released the single "Deep Cover" on Epic.  The song was Dr. Dre's first solo release and Snoop's first appearance on a recording.  It was the theme for the New Line Cinema motion picture of the same name.  It was produced by Dr. Dre.

"Deep Cover" reached #4 on the Rap chart.  The song was later featured in the 2004 Rockstar video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
