On this day in 1998, DMX released his second studio album Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood on Ruff Ryders. The album featured production from Swizz Beatz, Irv Gotti, P. Killer Tracks, DJ Shok, and Dame Grease. Guest artists featured on the album included Jay Z, Mary J. Blige, Jadakiss, Styles P, Drag-On, The Lox, Swizz Beatz, P. Killer Tracks, and Marilyn Manson. Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood produced the singles "Slippin'," which reached #60 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart; and "No Love 4 Me." The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. It sold over 670,000 copies its first week and was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
