On this day in 1990, Brand Nubian released their debut album One For All on Elektra. The album featured production from Brand Nubian, Stimulated Dummies, Dante Ross, Skeff Anselm, and Dave "Jam" Hall. Positive K was a guest artist on the album. One For All spawned the classic hit singles "Wake Up," "Slow Down," which sampled "What I Am" by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians; "Grand Puba, Positive, and L.G.," and "All for One." The album peaked at #130 on the Billboard 200. It reached #34 on the R&B chart.
