On this day in 1996, 2Pac released his fourth album All Eyez on Me. It was his first album released on Death Row. The album featured production by Daz Dillinger, Johnny "J", DeVante Swing, DJ Quik, Doug Rasheed, Harold Scrap Freddie, Mike Mosley, Rick Rock, Bobby "Bobcat" Ervin, DJ Pooh, QDIII, 2Pac, and Dr. Dre. Guest artists featured on the set included Nate Dogg, Dru Down, the Outlawz, Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Method Man, Redman, Kurupt, K-Ci & JoJo, Jewell, Roger Troutman, Dr. Dre, and others. The double album All Eyez on Me spawned the hit singles "California Love," which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for a Grammy; "How Do You Want It?," which also reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100; "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted," "All Bout U," and "I Ain't Mad at Cha." The album peaked at #1 on both the Billboard 200 and the R&B chart. It was certified diamond by the RIAA in 2014.
